Sunday School 3 years - 6th grade |
Welcome to the FaithWeaver Curriculum Our Sunday school uses the FaithWeaver curriculum. This is our second year with the curriculum. It was enthusiastically received by the teachers and parents alike. It is a resource God uses to change the lives of the children in our Sunday school program. Research shows that the most powerful influence on faith development is the conversations about faith that take place in the home. By using the take home sheets and discussing that day's Sunday school class with your children, you can begin these important discussions easily. All the children study the same bible passage each week, adding the ease of family conversations. Questions About the Curriculum What benefits does FaithWeaver bring to our children? · Each lesson concentrates on answering one important question from the Bible and applying that answer to kids' lives. · Systematic coverage of the Bible helps children put God's story all together. Students walk chronologically through the Old Testament over the course of three years, during the fall quarters. During the winter and spring quarters, the students walk through the New Testament each year. · The curriculum makes Bible learning fun. · The weekly take-home sheet, "Driving Home the Point", equips parents to encourage their childrens' faith at home. · Students learn in small groups. What benefits does FaithWeaver bring to our teachers? · It makes preparation easy. Prep time is usually about 1 hour. · It increases teachers' comfort level by giving the teacher all the needed background information and hints to make the lesson easier to present. Age level insights are offered each week. · Teachers see spiritual growth in their students and are encouraged to continue because they are impacting their students' faith. |
